Contemporary Home Rooted in South Indian Architectural Heritage

set  within a beautifully landscaped 2.5-acre site, this 25,000 sq.ft. luxury private residence is conceived as a calm and grounded response to its natural and cultural surroundings. The architecture draws inspiration from traditional South Indian residential design, reinterpreted through a contemporary and minimal architectural language.

Articulated as a series of low-rise, refined volumes, the residence allows landscape, light, and ventilation to shape the spatial experience. Pitched tiled roofs, deep verandahs, and shaded transitional spaces form key architectural elements—enhancing thermal comfort while maintaining strong proportion and scale.

A private temple and breakout courtyard are thoughtfully integrated into the master plan, creating spaces for reflection and gathering within the domestic environment. The material palette remains restrained and natural, emphasizing texture, depth, and timeless elegance. The result is a contemporary heritage-inspired home where luxury is defined by simplicity, spatial clarity, and a seamless connection to its surroundings.

The Chettinad Residence in Khammam is conceived as a contextual interpretation of traditional Chettinad architecture, rooted in heritage craftsmanship and spatial discipline. Spread across 10,000 sq.ft., the completed residence draws inspiration from historic South Indian courtyard houses while carefully adapting traditional design principles to contemporary residential living.

Organized around a central open-to-sky courtyard, the house is designed to enhance natural light, ventilation, and social interaction—key elements of authentic Chettinad homes. Verandahs, colonnaded corridors, and carefully aligned spatial transitions create a strong architectural hierarchy while responding to the local climate and cultural context.

Traditional architectural elements such as carved wooden columns, ornamental brackets, patterned flooring, and sloping clay-tiled roofs are integrated with restraint to preserve authenticity. The interiors extend this language through custom-crafted woodwork, earthy materials, and handcrafted detailing that reinforce the heritage character of the residence.

The project represents a thoughtful reinterpretation of Chettinad-style residential architecture, where traditional craftsmanship, material authenticity, and contemporary comfort come together to create a timeless luxury home in Khammam.

The Vijayawada Residence is a large contemporary private residence currently under development. Designed as a refined modern dwelling, the architecture is shaped through careful elevation planning and landscape integration to create a strong yet balanced residential presence.

The design strategically conceals the stilt level through site filling, allowing the primary built mass to rise confidently above the approach while maintaining a visually grounded character. A sequence of stepped landscape terraces connects the finished floor level to the road, forming a gradual arrival experience that integrates the architecture seamlessly with the terrain.

The residence follows a restrained contemporary design language defined by proportion, clarity, and minimal detailing. Travertine stone cladding forms the dominant exterior expression, adding warmth and texture to the clean architectural volumes. Controlled glazing, deep projections, and subtle shadow lines introduce depth while maintaining a calm and elegant façade.

Residence reflects a sophisticated approach to contemporary luxury home design, where architecture, materiality, and landscape come together to create a timeless and balanced living environment.

Spanish Inspired Luxury Residence Timeless Mediterranean Architecture This residence is envisioned as a grand interpretation of Spanish and Mediterranean architecture, drawing inspiration from medieval European homes. The Float House is a striking independent luxury residence in Janwada, Hyderabad, designed as a bold expression of contemporary floating architecture. Set on a ½-acre site with a built-up area of approximately 13,000 sq.ft., the home redefines structural boundaries through dramatic cantilevered slabs and an inside–out design philosophy.

Conceived as a floating architectural form, the residence features upper volumes that project nearly 6 feet along the sides and up to 16 feet at the front—creating a powerful visual lightness and iconic identity. The landscaped foreground is intentionally kept open, enhancing the perception of the structure hovering within greenery.

A grand double-height entrance foyer anchors the composition, contrasting the strong horizontal planes above. Exposed concrete surfaces, expansive glass façades, and full-height glazing blur the line between interior and exterior, while deep cantilevers provide natural shading and climate responsiveness.

Despite the structural complexity of its extensive cantilevers, the design achieves clarity, balance, and spatial openness—resulting in a dynamic modern residence where structure itself becomes the defining architectural expression.
